FAKE or REAL? Zodiac letters April May July 1978, 1986 and 1987

By the way, Robert Graysmith's yellow book was released in 1986.....hmm, certainly the publicity of a new z letter to coincide with his book wouldnt hurt sales,right?? Just sayin Hey, wasnt there another recent Zodiac book that had a supposed new z letter come out around the same time?

Well it had been 12 years since the last real Z letter so there are bound to be some differences.

You may be right,but for me, I think this could have been the creation from an 'overhead projector' (or whatever Graysmith called it) to generate some press for a bump in book sales,again, just my opinion.

I wondered about that too and also if it was disguised. Thing is though, why revert to a style that doesn't appear to be part of the progression?.

If you take the exorcist letter as the last legit one (which I do) you can see how it fits in with the rest so what possible purpose would it solve to revert to something that's more akin to the first letters sent? If the handwriting in the last of the legit letters didn't get you caught why bother going to the trouble of reverting to another style of disguise ... unless you are of course not the Zodiac and you are copying a style.
