He's probably not sharing the handwriting with them either. Maybe after the book-signing tour!

I see that at ZK the Bujok handwriting has been posted, and the consensus opinion seems to be most of it looks nothing like Zodiac writing, and based on what I have seen so far, I agree.

Can someone post the Bujok handwriting here? I would like for everyone to see it, maybe others will notice different things or have a different view.

I would rather not post it here, as I dont want this forum to get into the frey with Kevin Brooks. It is available at zodiackiller.com, and I do agree, as I said a long time ago when I first saw the writing, it does NOT look very much like Z

Yeah that is fine and probably a good idea. We can discuss it here but there really is little to discuss. Put it this way when I finally saw it I understood why Kevin was so reluctant to ever post it!

Kevin's latest comment on youtube:

It would have taken all of a few minutes to examine. My guess is that they either did examine and there was no match, or they just threw it in the pile of 'zodiac crap' (as I personally believe that most LE people consider it), or lastly, they found out that Bujok was looked at already a long time ago

Got an FBI response regarding Bujok, and they found no records of him in their files. I was very specific regarding the Zodiac case and in regards to any prints or writing samples of Bujok's being examined for the Z case. Who knows, maybe they never looked at Bujok

May have been easy enough at the time for SFPD to verify with Montana parole records that he was in Montana on the relevant dates.

I know at Tom's mb a lot of us looked into cattle brands (pre-Bujok). Many similar. Don't think I had seen those caresut provided.

Bujok's prints came back negative in both the Napa & SF case. He was NOT Zodiac!

I hope everyone will take it easy on Kevin. I know he is really let down, although much of the heat he took is his own fault. I think he got caught up in the excitement and just got swept away. On paper, Bujok did look good,but the case rests on more than paper. Oh well, on to the next suspect(s)

His handwriting didn't look good on paper, and if we'd seen it sooner we could have moved on then. But yeah, nice guy. Maybe now we can see that later Bujok mug shot.

That I dont know. I just know that the prints of Bujok dont match either of Napa or SF's prints. I dont think we have ever been told if SF & Napa have any prints that match each other.
