Nancy Bennallack and Judith Hakari - Possible Zodiac Victims?

Hakari was first, Bennallack lived around her corner, less than three weeks later Carol Hilburn - all Sacramento, some of them nurse, Bennallack court reporter connected to a youth crime judge. Knife stabbings and throat cuts. Sheriffs in 1971 claimed to be a 'definitive' link to Betty cloer, too. Both were young women, they had stopped at a bar in Sacramento on the night they were killed, the killings took place within six months of each other, their bodies were found nearly naked in brushy fields although there was no forensic evidence of a sexual assault, and the faces of both victims’ had been crushed beyond recognition. Now the interesting part: A girl named 'DEE' (Darlene Ferrin?) accompanied Carol to Sacramento to see some friends of a local motorcycle gang. Dee dropped Carol at an after-hours club on West Capital Avenue frequented by motorcycle gangs. The name of the club was the Zodiac.

Are you saying that you think that Phillip Arthur Thompson might be responsible for the Sacramento murders? Betty Cloer's murder was solved about five years ago, largely on DNA evidence. Thompson was the murderer. As the Cloer case was given consideration that it might be connected to the Sacramento murders I'm reasonably certain that investigation into Thompson for having committed those murders was done. AK might know more about that.

There is a connection of sorts between Thompson and Carol Hilburn. Both were from Sebastopol in Sonoma County.

IIRC no car seen for Bennallack but an old pickup truck driven by bearded man unloadins something late at night right near where Hakari body was found.
