DONNA RAE BRAMELL

Donna Rae Bramell - Killed January 1973. She was shot several times with a small caliber gun at the entrance to Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley, Alameda County. That is directly across from Sunol Regional Park (several miles across), where I think Z may have killed a couple in June 1967 at the entrance to Sunol Regional Park.

I am putting some stuff together on this murder, and getting more info, and will try to post it this weekend. If anyone is familiar with the case, please post what you know here. Thanks

"The marksmanship range, operated by the Chabot Gun Club, is open to the public, including persons with disabilities. It has pistol, rifle, and shotgun ranges, and offers a hunter safety course. This is the only District facility where firearms are allowed. The facility is open Friday through Monday. The range is located in the park off Marciel Road; take the Marciel Gate entrance off Redwood Road."

Interesting that there is a gun range right there. I wonder when it opened?

Thanks, I may not prove to be right on some of these, but you dont know until you look.
This victim was shot at the entrance to a park with a small caliber gun, as were the June 1967 victims. Both parks were in Alameda County. One wasnt far from Pleasanton, and one happened in Pleasanton. There were multiple confirmed and unconfirmed Zodiac letters sent from this area.

Donna's murder occurred late Saturday, or early SAT- Same MO as Zodiac

No MOTIVE!- Same as Zodiac

Shot with small caliber handgun- Same MO as Zodiac (trying to find out the caliber)

Killed at a park area- Same MO as Zodiac, not to mention, she was killed right at the entrance to the park. June 1967 Alameda County victims, also killed right at the entrance to Sunol Regional park

From the 2/16/73 DAILY REVIEW- Pay special attention to this article. There was a spree killer loose in the area, and I think he was caught, I believe his name was HERBERT MULLIN. He was not connected to BRAMELL's murder. Also mentioned last in the article, is a womans body discovered partially buried near Mt. Diablo.... I want to see if i can find more on that-
